For 2026, medical premiums are unchanged, the plan lineup remains the same, and free telemedicine through Sam by UCM is included with every medical plan. Full-time employees working 30+ hours per week are eligible. Eligible dependents include your spouse, children under 26 (natural, step, adopted, or legal guardianship), and unmarried children over 26 unable to support themselves due to disability.
Changes to benefit elections outside of open enrollment require a qualifying life event reported to HR within 30 days:
For existing employees, 2026 elections take effect February 1, 2026. New hires are eligible on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.
Only if you experience a qualifying life event (marriage, divorce, birth/adoption, loss of other coverage, etc.). You have 30 days from the event to make changes.

Your current elections roll forward for medical, dental, and vision. However, FSA and HSA elections do NOT roll over β you must re-elect each year.

Full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits upon satisfying the applicable waiting period of 30 days. Coverage is effective on the first of the month following the end of your waiting period.
