Client Benefits Sites (Part 2: Update an Existing Benefits Site)

🚨➡️ For a quick review of which field updates which part of the page, see the guide HERE.

Each client page is generated from HubDB rows; nothing is typed into the page itself.

  • Client Microsites — one row per site: name, logo, colors, hero text, plan year, enrollment portal link, benefits team, enrollment specialist, and the Open Enrollment dates and text.
  • Coverage Sections — one row per card under “What’s covered” (Medical, Dental, Things to Know, and so on).
  • Client Documents — one row per PDF, video or link, with a placement that decides where it shows.
  • Client HR Contacts — one row per contact in “Your HR team”.
  • Carriers Master — one row per carrier per client, tagged with the site(s) it belongs to.
  • People Master — AAB staff and enrollment vendors; microsite rows point at these.

How to get there:

  1. In HubSpot go to Content › HubDB.
  2. Open the table you need. Search by the client’s name; the Client column shows the site each row belongs to.
  3. Click a cell to edit it.
  4. On Client Microsites, the list/pages toggle beside the search box opens a page view: pick a site and edit its row with a live preview of the page beside it. Add Page there creates a new site — use the form in Part 1 instead.
  5. Click Publish at the top right of the table. Nothing is live until the table is published, and each table publishes separately.
  6. Open the live page in a private window and check it. Allow a few minutes and hard-refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R) if you don’t see the change.

Never delete a row. To take a document, section or carrier off a site, remove that site from the row’s Client column. If a row really must be deleted, let Brittany know.

After you publish — quick check:

  • Hero: name or logo, headline, plan year, buttons.
  • What’s covered: your section is in the right group and the documents sit on the right card.
  • Forms & documents: search for the new document.
  • New Hires band: eligibility line, specialist card, buttons.
  • Your Benefits Team: cards, HR team table, carrier directory.
  • During OE: countdown, changes box, sessions, deadline date.
  • Check on a smartphone too.
